The Spy Museum’s volunteers are critical for the museum’s engagement with visitors. We photographed them giving a tour to showcase their work and meeting post-visit. These photos allow the museum to recruit more volunteers and give museum goers a visual example of what a museum volunteer does.

Q&A About this session:

How much time do you need for a marketing/branding session?
I typically need an hour and a half to get a standard body of work that organizations can begin using.

How quickly would we get the photos post session?
My typical turnaround is one week for marketing sessions. If your organization needs it earlier, let us know beforehand and we can make it happen!

We want the photos to look natural…so do we stage it or not?
Most branding sessions are semi-staged. The people in the photos need to fully know they’re being photographed. We also move some people around, or ask them to change outfits to give us more variety. We do let them do their thing which allows for those candid photos. But overall, we want to be able to control the lighting and the location based on the needs of the organization.
