Event and Portrait Photographer

It all started when...

...I took a film class in high school. Watching photographs develop in front of my eyes in a dark room was amazing.

In college, I photographed for Towson University's newspaper, The Towerlight, where I covered news stories and the arts. That's when I began photographing senior portraits for friends, which led to photographing their weddings.

After graduating, I worked in public relations for a few years until realizing I was more passionate about photography. So I jumped full-time into my already growing business.

I've now photographed over 200 weddings and 500 headshot sessions, along with two presidential candidates. I'm always looking forward to the next session and where it'll take me.

Something I love about photography is how it allows me to travel and experience different places. My goal is to travel to all 50 states!

Sen. Warren's campaign brought me to this early state!

The final stop on my three-day Amtrak train trip across the US from DC to Portland, OR.

Before photographing a rally for Sen. Warren in 2020, I had previously visited the state to see it's national parks!

Celebrating with the bride! Congrats to my friend Angela and hubby Donny!

Trinity University celebrated their 150th anniversary with multiple events in San Antonio. My colleague Vanessa assisted me in getting all the must-have shots!

Iowa is the hot spot on election years. Both Sec. Castro and Sen. Warren's campaigns made multiple stops in the state.

Stopped in Chicago to see friends during my train trip across the US!

Sen. Elizabeth Warren’s campaign brought me to Detroit, Michigan. It was her last campaign stop during her campaign.

I traveled to Ohio for Erin & Tim’s wedding at the Granville Inn. I also took a little tour of Ohio University!

New York

When Sec. Castro ended his campaign, he endorsed Sen. Warren. I traveled to NY to photograph their first joint event!

New Hampshire

It's always a treat being a wedding guest! We traveled to Searless Castle to celebrate our friends' wedding!

Traveled to Acadia National Park and stopped by the LL Bean Flagship Store on the way!

Photographing in the nation's capital includes landmarks and monuments!

Fun fact: I was a Girl Scout and earned my Gold Award. I reconnected with Karen when I photographed for her company, Endgame.

Puerto Rico

I photographed Latino Victory's 2019 Political Summit in PR. It was the largest congressional delegation to ever travel to the island.

I've worked with Ana for over a year as a photographer for my clothing line and now brick and mortar. She's wonderful to work with, goes the extra mile, captures beautiful photos (including moments and things I never would have thought to ask her to capture), and always delivers photos in record time.

I can't recommend Ana enough!

-Angela Breidenstein, Ed.D., Professor of Education

I can't thank Ana enough for these photos. They allowed me to go back in time and re-experience the day and all of the magic, slowed down to take it in—again and anew. Most of all, though, seeing all of the human interaction—the joy—in our community. Seeing familiar and new faces, and so much togetherness and love.

Ana captured the joy in our community
