How it all started
High school film class. It was so exciting to see photos come to life in the darkroom.
I pursued this initial love in college– photographing for Towson University’s newspaper, The Towerlight, covering news and the arts. When friends saw my photos, they asked me to take their portraits, and from there, my photo skills snowballed into weddings.
Post-graduation, I worked in public relations. But my heart ached to go all in on my love of photography. Plus, I wanted the freedom to travel. And asking for permission to go on an adventure is very not me.
I took the plunge, becoming a full-time photographer. Fast forward, I’ve captured over 200 weddings, 500 headshot sessions, and 3 presidential candidates. With my camera in hand, it will be fun to see where the next session takes me.
I am crossing my fingers for a session that takes me to an event at a delicious Michelin-starred restaurant. Or a classic wedding that brings two confident, fun-loving people together for a beautiful marriage. Both work.
