On the Campaign Trail with VP Harris & Gov Walz in Las Vegas

The Harris-Walz campaign trail continued in Las Vegas, Nevada! The crowd was electric and folks were very excited to hear from the Vice President and Governor. I enjoyed the campaign trail because it reminded me of the excitement from the past presidential campaigns I’ve photographed. It truly set the tone for the upcoming election, it gathered everyone together for a cause, and it certainly has made me really excited for November!

Pre-Event

As folks come into the arena, the DJ got everyone’s energy up. People were dancing, holding up signs, and really getting ready to hear all the speakers! Speakers included local representatives, activists, and volunteers.

Then, came time for Governor Walz and Vice President Harris!

Greeting Supporters

After the VP got off stage, she greeted many supporters! I really liked that she was able to connect with so many people that came to cheer her on. As a photographer, I’m looking for the handshakes, the excitement on faces, all while navigating secret service.

Post-session

As soon as the event is over, I get right to editing! I’m working on getting immediate selects to be shared and distributed. I typically crop and color correct the photos without any re-touching or changing the integrity of the photo. Then, it’s backing up the rest and moving on to the next campaign stop!
