Katie Bansil has officially put in her bid as a congressional candidate running in New Jersey! I traveled to New Jersey to photograph her throughout the district.

The three must-have photos for any candidate beginning their bid are: headshots, action photos, and with supporters. We definitely got those three during Katie’s session and more!

We first started with headshots that she could use throughout the campaign. Headshots are establishing photos that will be used in mailers, print media, online media, and traditional TV advertisement. We also photographed in downtown Metuchen—a well-known location within her district. I photographed her in action walking by local businesses and within the train station.

The day continued as I photographed her greeting supporters and chatting with neighbors who are supporting her campaign.

Katie has a plethora of photographs to use as she begins her congressional journey! Enjoy my favorite from this day!
