Italian airline, Alitalia, made their inaugural flight to Washington Dulles International Airport. The Rome to IAD flight was greeted with a water canon salute. We traveled from the terminal to the tarmac on the mobile lounges. It was a great experience photographing the flight land and being part of the excitement on the ground.
