Katelyn & Eric chose to have their engagement session during Cherry Blossom peak bloom in Washington, DC. We photographed around the Tidal Basin and the Jefferson memorial. Katelyn chose two beautiful gowns which paired well with Eric’s suit. Enjoy some of my favorites!  

Cherry Blossoms are a beautiful springtime experience in the Washington, DC area. My favorite location to photograph them is the National Arboretum. It’s a quiet place and great for kids to roam and explore. In addition, parking is easy and plentiful, making it a top pick for families.  

While Cherry Blossoms get a lot of the attention, in my opinion, the best colors come from Magnolias. These trees with big blooms are the best for photographs. Ariel & Jocelyn had their springtime engagement session by the Cherry Blossoms at the National Arboretum. They also chose to photograph near by the historic Capitol Columns and topped off their session at the bar they had their first date. Congratulations Ariel & Jocelyn!
