Lauren Broschak has officially opened the doors at Kindroot Counseling! In preparation, we took marketing photos and headshots at the National Cathedral in Washington, DC. We choose this place for it’s calm and quiet presence. It offers strong backgrounds with stone and soft backgrounds in the gardens. How do headshots and marketing photos work?

Most often folks will need both headshots and marketing photos for their website, social media, and print materials. These are the photos that will showcase your business visually. While most of the time it may seem candid, they’re posed so that we can control the exact outcome of the photos.

How quickly will I get my photos after the session?

The usual turnaround time is one week post-session!

Do you recommend a make up artist?

Yes! I highly recommend Make Up with Jossy. She’s skilled at giving you make up that will show up well on the camera while also still looking like yourself!

How do I go about picking a location?

I recommend finding a location with backgrounds similar to the kind of words you’d like to have someone to describe you/your business. I have a lot of recommendations in the area and am happy to brainstorm with you!
