Cherry Blossoms are a beautiful springtime experience in the Washington, DC area. My favorite location to photograph them is the National Arboretum. It’s a quiet place and great for kids to roam and explore. In addition, parking is easy and plentiful, making it a top pick for families.

Ariel & Jocelyn had their springtime engagement session by the Cherry Blossoms at the National Arboretum. They also chose to photograph near by the historic Capitol Columns and topped off their session at the bar they had their first date. Congratulations Ariel & Jocelyn!

Family portraits mean seeing little ones grow year after year. I’ve photographed the Rollins family now for two years and it was exciting seeing them once again. This time, their session was at the National Arboretum–a perfect place for our door photos with lots of greenery and history.
