I specialize in capturing celebratory B'nai Mitzvah, corporate events and headshots, and influential events for political candidates and companies.
Born in Peru, and now based in Washington, D.C., I love traveling and dining at every oyster bar along the way. I can’t wait to team up with you and capture your personal piece of history.

I started photographing weddings as a second shooter. It’s not always easy at first!! But as I went along, I developed three important tasks to keep in mind: be helpful, shoot as close to the primary photographer’s style as possible, and learn from how they work.
The photographers I’ve worked with as a second shooter have different styles and that’s exactly what I like about it!!! Being forced to think creatively to capture one-time moments in a style that’s different than yours requires a lot of quick thinking! The good thing is that I’ve shot enough with Mike, Eric and Matt that I know exactly how to get what they need. I’ve also been able to learn from the way they work from their approach to meeting new clients to their work flow on wedding day. While I’m now shooting as the primary more than I ever have, I still find second shooting important for my professional development and growth.
Late last year, I attended Sarah Bradshaw‘s Second Shooter Workshop at the Loft at 600 F and it was very much needed!!! For me, it was a great opportunity to learn new ways of assisting the primary shooter. Sarah covered contracts, building a more robust portfolio, and she also guided us through a styled shoot!! Second shooters usually photograph the groom and reception details, so she taught us tips and tricks for using natural light in tough situations, how to pose the groom, and how improve capturing details! I absolutely loved meeting and getting to know Sarah!! Her work is amazing and also inspiring to me as a DC-based wedding photographer!!
