Picking the perfect location for your family portraits

Picking a location for family portraits can be exciting. Here are three things to consider:

• • • Meaningful – Pick a place that is meaningful to the family. It could be your favorite walk path, a favorite building, a park, etc.
    • Familiar – Pick a place that’s familiar. This is especially helpful for kids who need extra time to warm up. If they have a favorite playground or spot, this will make them excited to go.
    • A new place – If your family is the adventurous kind, we have lots of places to recommend. Some include iconic buildings, popular parks, museums, etc.

Reminder: A session at home works, too! This is especially helpful for families with newborns since it doesn’t involve travel.

Keep in mind: If family members require extra assistance or specific terrain to easily move about, keep in mind the pathway to getting to the location so that everyone can participate.
