On the Campaign Trail with Sen. Elizabeth Warren: Iowa

Being part of Senator Warren’s presidential campaign was always full of exciting and fast-moving events. Today, I’m sharing three town halls on a two-day trip to Iowa.

 

Each town hall starts with meeting supporters and ends with a selfie line. The first town hall was in Muscatine, Iowa.

During this two-day trip, Senator Warren traveled with her dog, Bailey (yes, the dog that ate the burrito!). The second town hall was in Davenport, Iowa.

You’ll notice that some of the meet and greets are in random places. We’ve been in school libraries, industrial kitchens, and classrooms. It’s usually a quick spot that’s secure enough and accessible for supporters.

The final stop was in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Bailey couldn’t come inside this one, but he watched from the bus.

During this stop, Jonathan Van Ness from Netflix’s Queer Eye joined Senator Warren.
