DC headshot locations with greenery

Getting greenery in the back of your headshots allows for a natural look. Pairing it with a suit jacket or a dress provides the professionalism most people are looking for when getting their headshots taken. Take a look at a few of my recommended locations in the DC area.

DC War Memorial

Great spot for columns and greenery. It is located right on the national mall and bit of a walk over from metro and parking, but the colors are well worth it!

DAR Constitution Hall

This spot is a hidden gem! A short distance from McPherson Square and very easy parking on the same street, DAR provides greenery and columns. A great spot for mixing the two as well.

US Botanical Gardens

The US Botanical Gardens is all about the greenery. There are quite a few great areas within the gardens as well as across the street at Batholdi Park.

Constitution Gardens

The willow trees at Constitution Gardens allow for a different kind of greenery. This one adds texture!

Library of Congress

If you want a little bit of structure and greenery, the LOC is a perfect spot. It’s easy to get to and fairly quiet on weekday mornings.
