Hank’s Oyster Bar with Isaac

Something everyone should know about me: I love seafood and a good cocktail! After all I was born in the Pacific coast! For me these two things come together perfectly at Hank’s Oyster Bar!! While owner Jamie Leeds has various locations, and recently opened a new venture Hank’s Pasta Bar (which is SO good!), my heart is set on the Dupont location!

I was so enamored with everything Hank’s that for seven months you could find me at their bar every single Tuesday! As I became a regular, I found one of my favorite bartenders: Isaac. Tequila isn’t my first choice of spirit but there’s something in the way Isaac makes a tequila cocktail that makes you want more!! He knows how to blend ingredients that go perfectly well with your dish, especially my favorite: raw oysters!

Last summer, the magazine Beverage Journal featured Isaac and I had the pleasure of photographing him!! I’m so excited to finally share with everyone what a great bartender he is!! Here are a few photos that made the publication as well as some photos of the drinks I love!
