Indoor and covered locations for photos in Washington, DC

Rain happens and sometimes rescheduling isn’t an option. That’s why I have these four covered (and indoor) locations in my back pocket when clients need a contingent plan:

Kennedy Center

The large awning allows for a covered area while still getting some greenery, beautiful white marble, and tall columns.

 This indoor location feels like you’re outside! The atrium allows for great lighting while keeping everyone dry.

Union Station

The well-known arches provide depth for outdoor photos and the gold indoor facade gives portraits that extra shine.

This well-kept secret is a favorite! The even lighting and curved structure add leading lines hard to find in other places in the city!
