My first recommendation to anyone getting married is to hire a wedding planner! Surprised? Well, let me tell you why they should be your first vendor from three professionals:

Vanessa from Little Black Book, event concierge services said it perfectly when she said, “Hiring a planner is like buying insurance.  There are no do-overs.” Couples invest time and energy on their wedding and “a great planner ensures that everything goes accordingly and that their vision is flawlessly executed.”

One of Vanessa’s most commonly asked questions is “what is traditional and what’s not?” Her advice is to do “whatever reflects you as a couple. It’s your party and celebration. Make sure it’s everything you want it to be.  Your family and friends will love it if you do.” Having that personality touch makes weddings unique!

Tiffany from Simply Breathe Events says that “hiring a wedding planner is the best way you’re going to be able to enjoy your wedding day as much as possible!” Planners work so hard behind the scenes, that you and your guests may never know if something went wrong! Wedding professionals take over of coordinating all of your vendors before and during the wedding day. As a photographer, it’s so great being able to ask a planner the detailed questions about a timeline, than bothering the couple or family friend already on the dance floor. They also take such good care of us and make sure we’re fed at a time that allows us to catch all the must-have shots!
