How far in advance should we book?
For the fall, the earlier the better! Most clients book around late August and early September.
We’ll be bringing a dog, how do you recommend we manage that?
It’s always fun to bring a pup! If you want photos without your pup at any point, I recommend bringing in someone to help, like a family member, a friend, a dog walker, etc. I recommend an extra person especially if your dog is on the energetic end!
We don’t know where to get our photos taken! Where should we go?
I’m happy to help pick a location in the DMV. I typically recommend a local park or a place where the whole family feels comfortable. A meaningful location is also special!
We want monument photos, what should we consider?
Sessions with monument views are always morning time sessions. This allows us to photograph in beautiful light and with minimal to no tourists. In the summertime, it’s much cooler and in the winter, it gives us a really nice fall glow!
How quickly do we get our photos back? We want them for holiday cards!
The earlier you book, the better! It takes me up to 2 weeks to get your photos back to you. In addition, earlier sessions in the year give you more flexibility with timing for holiday cards!
