I specialize in capturing classic weddings, fun family photo sessions, celebratory B'nai Mitzvah, and influential events for political candidates and companies.
Born in Peru, and now based in Washington, D.C., I love traveling and dining at every oyster bar along the way. I can’t wait to team up with you and capture your personal piece of history.

It’s been a really busy few months! So busy, I have totally forgotten about some of the blog series I started! So in hopes of getting back on track, I’m bringing back my Behind the Camera series. It is a monthly post of things you may have not seen on social media from all aspects of my life, taken on my iPhone. They are the imperfect yet fun photos that I would share with any of my friends, including you!
Without much further ado, here’s what happened in May:
Now that he’s out of school, Zhidong and I have been playing tourists in DC! We took a tour of the Library of Congress and saw Jefferson’s books.
I have been looking for a blazer for months because it’s hard to find something that looks good and fits my long arms! That’s when I turned to Mario Rojas, who crafted a custom blazer for me. Last week, he took my final measurements to make those final adjustments and I cannot wait to show you all the final product!!! He is amazing and truly cares about his customers and their needs!
The Taste of Peru is an annual festival in DC that showcases the culture and of course, lots of food!! I was glad to attend this year and eat some of my favorite dishes: anticuchos, papa a la huancaina, and big Peruvian corn!
LJ is such a cutie! We photographed his family portraits at the Kennedy Center and of course, I had to get my picture taken with him (and his pocky snack!).
We celebrated Eva’s birthday this month (pictured on the right) and figured it was a good time to take a picture together!
As we wrap up May, June is pride month! Gina and I attended The Trevor Project‘s gala, raising funds to continue their work in crisis intervention and suicide prevention for LGBTQ youth. It is truly a great organization that is helping our community!
That’s my post for this month! Be sure to also follow on Instagram!
