I specialize in capturing classic weddings, fun family photo sessions, celebratory B'nai Mitzvah, and influential events for political candidates and companies.
Born in Peru, and now based in Washington, D.C., I love traveling and dining at every oyster bar along the way. I can’t wait to team up with you and capture your personal piece of history.

It’s officially the sixth month of the year!! So let’s take a look at what happened in month five!
The very first day of the month, Matt and I met up to chat about Tina & Jamie’s wedding (post coming this Friday!!). The official team included the two of us and Lauren Empson! You can see our team on instagram!
I took a nice drive to Cana Winery in Middleburg, VA for a photo meeting and venue walk through! I’m excited to shoot Tessa & Patrick’s wedding there in a few weeks!
As you can tell in the picture above, it had been raining for what felt like weeks! So the second the clouds parted, I took advantage and went on a few hikes at Great Falls! I did both the MD and the VA side! Both sections were pretty wet from the rain but it was nice to get outside!
My good friend Angela and I decided to go to dinner after a WWPR event I photographed at the Microsoft Office. Neither of us had been to The Dabney and let me tell you, our meal was SO good! It’s tucked in an alley (looks much cooler than it sounds) and they had a perfect little patio! Angela and I used to sit next to each other when we worked at a communications firm and we hadn’t seen each other in a bit so we had lots to catch up on!
Just last weekend, I traveled to Pittsburgh to see my favorite band: HAIM!!!! AAH! I’m obsessed! I didn’t get a chance to see them last year so my best friend Laura and I made the drive to see them!! Haim was amazing and it was even better getting to have some one-on-one time with Laura! We’ve traveled everywhere together! She got a photo of me sporting my new shirt! :-)
After a long weekend of holidays, parties, and running around, I finally got a chance to slow down! I have one pottery class left and while I’m super sad, I’m really happy I met so many new friends but also really proud of the work I did! I made this plate and promptly debut it by having everything I was craving that day: chicken salad, prosciutto, and challah!
I’m excited for everything that June has in store: weddings, client meetings, coffee with new friends, voting in the Peruvian elections, and many other exciting things!
Thanks for checking in and happy June!!
