I specialize in capturing classic weddings, fun family photo sessions, celebratory B'nai Mitzvah, and influential events for political candidates and companies.
Born in Peru, and now based in Washington, D.C., I love traveling and dining at every oyster bar along the way. I can’t wait to team up with you and capture your personal piece of history.

We’re officially half way through the wedding season!!! Each wedding season, I learn a little bit more. More about photography, running a business, and most especially, how to better balance work and play. This year, I put some systems in place that allowed me to enjoy summer (my favorite)! In addition to weddings, summer means water, cold drinks in hand, waking up to the birds singing, and being outdoors! And that’s exactly what I did this month!
Early in July, a good group of friends and I decided that we needed a break and tubing was the answer! We drove to Harper’s Ferry and had an absolute blast!!! The views were perfect and we shared some good laughs and stories!
One of the best parts about living in DC is spending independence day on the National Mall!! Some friends and I went to the Folklife Festival which focused on the Basque culture! We learned a lot and even learned a traditional dance!
Remember that beautiful nightstand in my room that I’m obsessed with?? Well my long-time friend Nicole made them!! She’s amazing and we thought that it’s just the right time to photograph the rest of her wood work! We spent a night at her shop arranging some cutting board, styling them, pouring wine (it was part of the styling!!! :-)), and shooting! We had a really good time! I can’t wait to share the photos soon!
As you may have already seen, I’m traveling to Spain and France in eight short days!!! I took French from 7-9th grade and definitely didn’t retain much, so I figured that a refresher course was needed! I started going to the French Academy (highly recommend it!) and after each class, I would treat myself to a stroll to the White House!!! I love DC and I’m excited to go from one capital to the next!!
After shooting weddings every weekend, I decided that my first weekend off needed to be something outdoors! Surprisingly, I hadn’t been to Sugarloaf Mountain Vineyard–especially having lived in Montgomery County for so long! So my friend Sarah took me there! Despite the heavy rain in the afternoon, we had a great time! (I actually think running around a vineyard in the rain made it more fun!)
That’s all for this month!! Be sure to follow me on Instagram and Facebook for some other behind the camera moments! I’ll definitely be posting photos from my trip so stay tuned!
