I specialize in capturing classic weddings, fun family photo sessions, celebratory B'nai Mitzvah, and influential events for political candidates and companies.
Born in Peru, and now based in Washington, D.C., I love traveling and dining at every oyster bar along the way. I can’t wait to team up with you and capture your personal piece of history.

Hi everyone! February was buuuuusy! I got to see lots of friends and attend many industry events. Check it out:
Chandelier of Gurene‘s open house was a great way to see the venue and meet event professionals. They have a large reception room, as well as a gorgeous white chapel. Not only that, they can host over 10 people in the on-site home–perfect for a wedding party and/or family.
There, I saw Dawn! We’ll be shooting together in March and I’m looking forward to it! We enjoyed drinks from Bartenders 4 U.
I also attended San Antonio’s ILEA chapter! Got to see friends from Capers, Joyous 442, Signature Catering, and The Event Assistant.
Sometimes I need to work in a completely different location to get a fresh perspective. I checked out the Landa Library which was previously an old luxury home. It is the pretties library I’ve seen! This is just a little sneak peak.
I also attend a networking group called “Network for Rebels.” It’s a great breakfast group where we talk anything/everything business! Always a great time to see these friends!
Keri and I attended the popular Tasty Bites hosted by NACE at the Pearl Stable! Vendors got to prepare bites and drinks for all to try. It was a competition too–so it was serious! And seriously good!
The AIP team took headshots on the hill. Matt, Natira, and I missed Lauren who just had her baby! Congrats Lauren! Learn more about our team here.
Have you been to the Hirshhorn? There are awesome exhibits right now. A popular one is What Absence Is Made Of. This particular installation had paper fall from the ceiling which created an entire room of paper! I think I was having as much fun as all the little kids in there!
Speaking of little kids…E & LJ were so good during their portraits session. You must check their pictures here–you’ll be all heart-eyed emoji for the rest of the day!
I love that my brides are both friends and clients. Andrea and I had brunch at Sospeso. We talked for hours while drinking mimosas! So good catching up with her. Cheers to a great friendship, Andrea!
Last and certainly not least, I attended an industry event at the National Museum of the American Indian. Their space is beautiful, versatile, and perfect for corporate events! If you get a chance to go, be sure to try the food at their café too–the chef incorporates native foods!
Thanks for checking in friends! March is already shaping up to be great. Be sure to follow on instagram for live happenings.
