Behind the Camera

September has started off so strong that I’m just getting around to the August recap! Ah!

When I looked back at August, I realized that it was full of gathering with friends! So let me show you who I saw this past month!

At the Latino Economic Development Center’s networking event, I saw Lina Salazar, who is a health coach! She actually just finished a trip to Tanzania to hike Kilimanjaro! Follow her here! We met at the Greater Washington Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and it always great seeing her!

 

In August (and September!) I photographed for a project Arena Stage! The space is beautiful and can be used for different types of events!

The best part about working at Arena Stage was working with my friend Kaitlyn! She showed me all around the different spaces and we got to listen to an awesome musician perform!

 

And what would August be if I didn’t watch the eclipse!? My friend Alex and I watched it at the National Cathedral! Thanks for standing in a long line to get us glasses Alex! It was definitely a cool experience!

 

I attended SESMA in August at the Winery at Bull Run! I got to see Heidi from AFR Events and Ray from Bialek’s Music! We had fun making this picture!

I also got to see Briana from Association Conference Group! We’ve worked together on a corporate event and it was nice see each other and chat with some wine in hand!

 

I’m now taking San Antonio clients. As the business expands, that also meant celebrating with wine!

 

Stephanie & Thanin are getting married!! And I’m excited to photograph their wedding next year! I really like that my clients are also great friends!

 

Last and certainly not least, I had a great lunch with my grandmother and aunt who was visiting the US from Peru! We toured DC and NY while she was here! I’m looking forward to seeing her again soon when we travel to Peru later this year!
