The Girl Scout Council of the Nation’s Capital hosted an event at the UPS Townhouse catered by Ridgewells in Washington, DC. GSCNC invited members of Congress to show their support for scouting and their accomplishments! The event was called Sweet Success, which can you guess what the guests got as gifts? Cookies!!!

I was a Girl Scout in this same chapter and accomplished my Gold Award–the highest award in scouting! Photographing events for this chapter is always a treat for me! The images below include Rep. Joe Kennedy III, Rep. Ann Wager, Rep. Buddy Carter, and Rep. Salud Carbajal. From the Girl Scouts, CEO Lidia Soto-Harmon, and Board of Directors President Faye Fields led the event and greeted guests!
