Family

After a year of spending time at home because of the pandemic, the Rodriguez family wanted family photos to feel a bit familiar. We photographed them outdoors with nice greenery, followed by photos inside their home, relaxing and enjoying each other’s company. Take a look at some of my favorites.  

The N family decided to gather together to celebrate all of their family’s graduation! They had a high school, masters, and PhD graduates. Lovely getting to know them and photograph them. Congratulations graduates!

I have enjoyed photographing the Pennington family over many years. The kids are so much fun and always full of energy! Check out some of my favorite photos from their session!

Cherry Blossoms are a beautiful springtime experience in the Washington, DC area. My favorite location to photograph them is the National Arboretum. It’s a quiet place and great for kids to roam and explore. In addition, parking is easy and plentiful, making it a top pick for families.  

While Cherry Blossoms get a lot of the attention, in my opinion, the best colors come from Magnolias. These trees with big blooms are the best for photographs.
