Behind the Camera

November 2017

November was a whirlwind! Between holidays, my birthday, and travel, I was definitely on the go! And now, to recap my month from my iPhone photos:

As you all know, I’ve expanded my business to San Antonio, TX! I decided to check out the Farmers Market at Pearl Brewery and it did not disappoint! I took home local honey, challah (duh! my favorite), and homemade pasta. It may just become my weekend ritual!

Gina had political events in New York city the day before my return to DC, so I joined for a quick pitstop!  That allowed us to dine at Michelin star restaurant Casa Mono. It was a cozy corner location with really great wine and Spanish dishes. Definitely a must-try!

Have you checked out our press page? We’ve been featured on many publications! I photographed at the University of Maryland for the Baltimore Business Journal. You can see the picture and article here.

The fall season isn’t complete without family portraits! The last few weeks were full of portraiture just before the cold set in. I had to hold off on showing them so folks can send out their cards. Be on the lookout for photos in January!

I teamed up with Tiffany from Simply Breathe Events for a Be Merry styled session at Mess Hall! Our colleagues, Eleven Course Catering, Love Blooms DC, Third Clover Paper, Select Event Group. made the holiday vision come true! Check out Tiffany’s tips for stress-free holiday planning!

Last but not least, on the last few days of November, my grandmother and I traveled to the homeland, Peru! I celebrated my birthday with her and family (yes, that’s a picture of my face on a cake :-)) and it was awesome! My December recap will have more of our Peru trip so stayed tuned…

Thanks for stopping by friends!
